Shipping Guide


ANNOUNCEMENT:
Addmotor has temporarily suspended shipments of electric bikes and trikes to New York City, including Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. The resumption of service to NYC is yet to be determined. Shipping to other cities in New York State remains unaffected and continues as normal.

Free shipping is available to all 48 Contiguous States for orders placed at www.addmotor.com
Shipping fees apply to orders delivered to Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and Alaska. However, due to shipping limitations, Addmotor's lithium-ion batteries cannot be shipped separately to Hawaii and Alaska at this time.

Taxes and custom
A 10% tax will be applied to all orders delivered in California.


Processing Time
Any in-stock order will be shipped from our warehouse within 1 to 2 business days after receiving your confirmation email. Orders placed over the weekend, on holidays, or after 1 pm on weekdays will be processed the next business day.

Transit Time
Once the order has been shipped, you will receive the tracking number via the email provided at checkout. You can also check the updated information in your Addmotor account. Delivery times will vary depending on the distance from our warehouses in El Monte, CA, or Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for the tracking details to update after the parcel has left the warehouse.

Cross-border Shipment
Cross-border shipment from the US to Canada is available, a shipping fee and tariff/broker fees will apply. Estimated rates can be found on the checkout page.
Please note that due to shipping limitations, shipments to remote areas of the Yukon Territory and Northwest Territories are unavailable.

For existing customers in these territories, please contact the customer support directly at [email protected] for servicing options.

Please note that due to the nature of cross-border transactions, a processing fee will be applied, which will be your responsibility to cover.

Shipping Method
We ship most electric bicycles via UPS, FedEx Freight, R&L Carriers, Daylight Transport, EDI Express, and other carriers. An adult over the age of 18 must be present to sign for the delivery. For small accessories and parts, USPS is typically used.

Select your preferred bike color on the product page to obtain the availability and processing time.

Backorders

Occasionally, a product may run out of stock at our warehouse before the website is updated. If this happens, we will email you immediately after you place your order, informing you of the backorder status, the expected arrival time, and any available substitutes if you are interested in receiving your bike sooner.
The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as a shipment being held up at the port or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process.
If the arrival time changes for your order, you can let us know whether you would like to keep the order, substitute it for a different model, or cancel it altogether. Once backorders arrive, we reach out to verify the delivery information for shipping purposes, and you will receive an email with tracking information once it is shipped.

We will make every effort to ensure you receive your parcel on time. However, we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, delivery destination, weather, holidays, or incorrect/insufficient delivery information.

NOTES
1) The order will be processed for delivery upon receipt of payment. However, to avoid mis-shipments, delivery information must be verified via email or phone before dispatch. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

2) To ensure correct delivery, please provide a detailed and accurate delivery address and a valid phone number upon payment. The customer will be responsible for any loss of the parcel due to invalid or incorrect delivery information.

3) Typically, the parcel will be delivered only to the provided delivery address, and no address corrections or updates can be made once it is shipped. Any costs or expenses related to address revisions after dispatch will be the customer's responsibility. If the delivery address is not accessible for trucks, you may need to pick up your bike at a location designated by the carrier.
